ALAGBA Jackson / jackoalagba@justice.com On completion of his Bachelor’s in Computer Science from the University Of Benin, Nigeria, he started his professional career as a Network Administrator for W. W Golden Ventures, a private company in the cargo industry. He then moved into the State sector as Administrative Secretary to the Delta State Think-Tank on Development. His aim on this MBA programme is to equip himself with the necessary managerial skills for the future.

He continued to work for Alcatel until June 2001, and then left to spend 3 months in America. On his return he joined the Finnish mobile solutions company Tecnomen as a Product Engineer responsible for deployment and support of their Pre-Paid network product, and remained there until being accepted into the MBA.

As Vice president of Sales & Marketing at Hush Communications he was responsible for developing Hush's overall E-security business model, including product direction, sales and marketing strategy, partnerships, alliances, service delivery and pricing. His experience in this field began with Rank Xerox as a Sales & Marketing Executive. After a stint in Imaging distribution with Appropriate Technology Plc, he joined the Mitsubishi Corporation in London and worked on developing, marketing and trading convergence technologies. His next position was as sales and marketing manager with Philips Consumer Electronics where he developed the professional interactive technology division. Prior to joining Hush, Donough was sales and marketing director at a B2B start up called ftj.com where he headed Web, corporate communication and demand generation programs. His involvement in interactive and Security technology issues has led to invitations to speak at various European events. She then started her career as a management trainee and marketing executive for Nestlé (China) Ltd. She was responsible for the annual marketing plan, implementation of promotional activities and budget control for two brands: Nestlé’s worldwide strategic brand Nestea, and Nestlé Orange C, a brand launched in 2001. Later, in order to broaden her perspective, she accepted a product- manager position in the Junen Group. As this company had never explored the confectionery market for children before her arrival, she led the NPD (New Product and Development) process, where her work ranged from concept initiation, financial analysis, pricing, and packaging development, to the final launches and relevant in-store supports. In addition, she was in charge of holding the National Sales Conference and introducing this new product line. Its supporting plans were acclaimed by sales-people from more than 20 cities across China. Before leaving the company, she had launched about 10 products and achieved encouraging sales results. Last but not least, she likes pop music and swimming.

Her last position in Hana Bank, Shanghai Branch, was Manager of the Credit Department. In her free time, she loves music and sports. At some point in the future, she envisages a departure from banking and hopes to join the management team of a middle market company. She feels that struggling to raise a small company to a position of prominence within its industry would be an exciting way to earn a living. Until then, she would like to remain in the global banking community. Given the chance, she would like to work in investment banking.
