| Fionnuala BEHAL, Irish,
IMBA Student 1999/2000
"My reasons for pursuing an MBA
were simple. I needed to change my career orientation
and craved the challenge of a new sector of activity
and possibly even a new function. My ambition was to
integrate a large international corporation that could
offer me the international mobility and career opportunities
that I aspired to.
In fact today, I have achieved my
goal. I have joined a start up Internet company which
is a subsidiary of an International corporation with
over 120,000 employees in over 250 countries.
I am currently working as a Project
Manager in Paris for a new business unit in charge of
introducing an internet-enabled CRM system for the leisure/entertainment
industry in Europe. On a daily basis I am challenged
to deal with both tactical and strategic issues. I am
responsible for coordinating the implementation of a
strategic alliance with a partner in the US, developing
partnerships with portals and city guides, coordinating
development issues and timings with the technical department
and defining sales and marketing strategy.
Thank you Reims Management School
for this wonderful opportunity."

“As China enters the WTO, many
Chinese managers are facing challenges in the business
environment. There is no doubt that the full-time MBA
of Reims Management School has equipped me with the
means to meet those challenges, with updated theories,
newly developed seminars and international practices.
I feel confident with standing up to the requirements
of a cutting-edge business management environment.
I have chosen to return to China and
since July 2003 is a consultant in a German firm, Euro-Asia
Consulting Shanghai Office."

Vivek WATHOO, Indian, IMBA Student 2003/2004
Interviewed on his experience in studying
in Reims, Vivek answers :
“Having worked for four years
in India at a relatively junior position and being an
ambitious person , I took stock of the choices I had.
My aim has always been to work in an international environment
and that too at a highly competitive level. So an MBA
was the most natural choice for me. And once I decided
on doing an MBA, I ended up in France because of the
choices this school and the country offered me. The
environment is highly competitive, the standard very
high but at the same time the fees were affordable when
compared to other top business schools around the world.
I loved the team building activities
RMS had in Morzines in the French Alps where MBA students
were taken before the course starts. The integration
program consists of cross-cultural seminars and outdoor
activities like sports, rafting, canyoning, hang gliding
etc…. The whole batch has formed a great team
together, thus helping the learning process, which is
precisely what we are here for. The integration seminar
of the students from 16 different nationalities is a
must-be-experienced-by-all kind of thing. The people
in this country are very helpful and courteous despite
the language barrier, the whole experience has been
great. “

Laura
Donovan, IMBA student 1999/2000
"Since finishing the MBA, I have
been working in the area of sustainable development.
After having set up a research centre that capitalizes
on the resources of both corporate and academics around
the issues of sustainability, I have been with the Norwegian
financial group, Storebrand, in their Paris office to
promote Socially Responsible Investment on the French
market. I currently hold the position of Director –
Sustainable Development at Euroficom, a consulting firm
specializing in financial communication.
Through my RMS MBA, I was able to
acquire the broad range of skills necessary for working
directly with top management and institutional investors.
The International quality of the programme was essential
for learning to work efficiently with business people
throughout Europe, where I speak regularly in conferences
on corporate strategy and institutional investment.
As an American with an academic background in English
Literature and seven years of teaching in higher education,
I am now using the know-how gained via the MBA in an
extremely stimulating work environment, that is both
personally and professionally satisfying." |

Elurse, IMBA student 2003/2004
“After spending 8 years in Europe
working in Finance for the Telecom Industry, I decided
that it was time to expand my knowledge and to take
my career to a higher level. My goal was to develop
my managerial skills as well as to acquire a sound mental
discipline in approaching global business issues.
Ultimately, I aim to work in a management position for
a multinational corporation or in a strategy consulting
firm in Asia. This represents a double shift from my
previous career path. The RMS’s IMBA programme
offered me an ideal solution.
The 4 months spent at Tsinghua University,
Beijing on an exchange programme have been of great
help on my way toward my goals. They also have been
a tremendous experience both from a personal and professional
standpoint.
Moreover, by taking part in the business
plan module, I am now able to research, prepare and
test my business ideas in a real environment.”

wen IMBA student 2001/2002
"From Shanghai (China), to Reims
(France), to Lyon (France) and now Brussels (Belgium),
I have lived and worked with people from many different
countries and cultures. From a Medical Doctor in Shanghai
to a Product Manager in one of the biggest multinational
pharmaceutical companies, I have progressed in my professional
career and been able to use in my daily work both my
medical background and the strategic marketing knowledge
gained through my RMS MBA.
I appreciated the quality of the courses
at Reims, but what I most appreciated was the real international
environment offered by the School. This was my first
experience of working with a multicultural team and
I benefited greatly from the free exchange of ideas
between students and professors from all over the world
and the excellent MBA student support team. My MBA experience
helped me tremendously to deal with my new responsibilities
in Europe afterwards."

Isabelle
Marnoni IMBA student 2003/2004
“After 7 years working in production
(quality, engineering …), I wanted to redirect
my career towards jobs with more responsibilities and
to break new grounds. I therefore decided to enrol in
a programme which could further my knowledge and train
me to successfully face the many situations a manager
may be confronted with. From this angle, the RMS IMBA
fulfilled all my expectations and went even further.
During my year in Reims, I also discovered
that the main assets of the programme were the possibility
of international exchanges, a melting pot of participants
coming from 17 countries with many different backgrounds
and an international faculty. All this helped me to
stretch my mind and to gain valuable experience.”

“About the MBA Students …
As soon as I walked into the classroom, I knew I would
love it … Students from all cultures, ready to
face the world of Statistics. The topic was challenging,
they embraced it. Demanding but humble, they worked
hard.
The class sessions were filled with
intensity: challenging questions, moments of frustration,
but also laughter, mutual assistance and friendship. At
the end of the day, you could feel the energy.
… And to everyone’s delight,
one group of students even staged their project presentation
as a Broadway show!
The cultural diversity was what I always
cherished most when I was teaching in New York or Hong
Kong, but I had never before experienced such eagerness
in learning and excellence. That was, by far, one of
my best teaching experiences.”
