Graduation Ceremony
The graduation ceremony for the Executive MBA, promotions 8 and 9, and for the International MBA class of 2007 took place on Friday, March 30th, in the main amphitheater of Reims Management School.
In a festive atmosphere, 33 IMBA and 21 EMBA graduates received their diploma from the hands of François Cravoisier, President of the Chamber of Commerce, and François Bonvalet, Dean of RMS.
After the traditional throw of the cap, graduates joined their friends and families for Champagne and an excellent cocktail dinner.
The celebration continued late into the night at local restaurants and bars: old habits never die…
Let’s wish these freshly minted MBAs success and happiness.

Conference:
Brand Australia by S. Charters
On 22nd March, a conference for MBA students on 'Brand Australia' took place entitled: 'The use of a generic national brand to promote the wine of one country and its success and failures', given by Stephen CHARTERS, Professor of Champagne Management at Reims Management School.
Abstract : The Australian wine Industry has grown from being a marginal player in international wine markets to being the 4th largest supplier of wine to the world in 2006.
Much of this has been achieved by a collective approach – developing the concept of 'Brand Australia' as an umbrella under which the wine companies, large and small, could position themselves.
This talk aims to examine how the Australian wine industry managed to achieve this – and to consider the strengths and weaknesses of the approach.
